Rowan Willigan is an artist, choreographer, dancer and photographer living in the Hudson Valley of New York. Rowan is the artistic director of The D'amby Project, an Irish and contemporary dance company founded in 2012 by herself and her business partner/fellow dancer Leighann Kowalsky.
Rowan's studio practice is heavily influenced by her many years of experience as a dancer, choreographer, and all around mover. Her most recent project, -Groundwork-, blended dance and art into a collaborative exploration of movement and drawing.
Rowan has a passion for many mediums and loves to explore new modes of expression including painting, drawing, video, photography and sculpture.
